Who’s Who

Our minister is Revd. Dr. Mike Ward. Mike is the minister of a joint pastorate with our sister churches at Hoylake and Two Mills. Before to taking up this appointment, Mike spent three years as the Training & Development Officer for the Northern Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Wales. Prior to that he spent  five years as full time ecumenical chaplain at Grimsby Institute of Further & Higher Education and before that he spent twenty years as a minister in the Church of Scotland. Whilst with the Church of Scotland, Mike had spells working in broadcasting with the BBC Scotland as a producer of religious programmes, he also worked as a college and prison tutor and latterly as a community and NHS healthcare chaplain.
